# Turn off 'Snap to dot grid'

By default, snap to dot grid is turned on for each project.

In order to get tasks lined up perfectly, you'll need to turn this off.

To do so hit `Ctrl` + `K` then type **SNAP** and *uncheck* "Snap to dot grid"
